Denville, New Jersey, October 1, 2011 – Saint Clare’s Hospital Plastic Surgeon, Lorelle N. Michelson, M. D., F.A.C.S., LLC, is hosting a networking buffet workshop for people interested in learning about topics of current interest in medicine and Plastic Surgery. This forum is designed to facilitate collaboration among participants.  It has been conducted several times yearly in diverse venues during the past two decades.  

The next Open House is scheduled for Sunday, February 26, 2012 at 11 AM in the Urban Auditorium of Saint Clare’s Hospital Denville Campus.   

The Center for Food Action, honored at previous events, will also be a focal point of this meeting.  This non-profit Bergen County-based group provides tireless support to New Jersey residents in need.  Their efforts have redoubled during these particularly trying times.   A special dedication to this outstanding organization is planned.

Dr. Michelson will be joined by Rositta Michael, M. D., F.A.A.P., Attending Physician, Pediatric Emergency Department, Saint Clare’s Hospital.

Dr. Michael will speak about injuries in children with emphasis on concussion.   She will provide guidance about pressing concerns and poignant issues.

Dermatechnician, MaryAnn Velardi, will speak about the application of permanent cosmetics in the medical setting.  Ms. Velardi often enlists the assistance of a model to facilitate her demonstrations.  Ms. Velardi, an experienced practitioner, is also an instructor in this field.

Many devoted supporters of the Center for Food Action in New Jersey will likewise be present.

Dr. Michelson will discuss “Plastic Surgery:  Trauma and Scars.”   Dr. Michelson encourages energetic audience interaction.

Michelson, a Bergen County resident, periodically facilitates these seminars.  “The symposia are designed to be fun and, above all, educational,” Michelson said.  “There is, in addition, great networking potential, especially for business owners and entrepreneurs catering to a savvy, image-oriented clientele.”

Michelson, a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey/New Jersey Medical School, maintains her private practice in Denville as well as in Englewood, New Jersey. 

Exhibitors of trendy items, including a fine jeweler, a distributor of handmade jewelry, and a purveyor of distinctive handcrafted accessories will, among others, be on site.

The West Essex Chamber Players will, in addition, provide a memorable interlude of classical and popular musical selections.

Unique samples, door prizes and a complimentary buffet luncheon are offered.
